What are Balasana yoga mats made out of?
Our yoga mats are made with a natural tree rubber base and a microfiber suede top. The suede top is soft and smooth whilst the natural tree rubber provides added comfort.
We only choose products that are natural, biodegradable, non-toxic and free from any chemicals that may be harmful.

How do I clean my yoga mat?
To remove marks, we recommend you wipe the mat clean with a damp cloth.
We also stock the Second Nature Yoga Mat Spray, which is an excellent, sustainable way to keep your mat clean and can be used every day. Simply spray your mat before and after your practice.

What is the best way to store my mat?
Roll the mat up with the suede top facing out. Tie the carry strap around the mat and store away from the direct sunlight to help preserve the colour.

How long will my order take to arrive?
We will process your order within 24 hours of you placing it (week days only). South Island orders will take 2-3 working days to arrive and North Island orders will take 3-4 working days. Australian orders will take 3-10 working days to arrive. All shipping times stated are subject to delays caused by COVID restrictions and peak holiday periods.

What happens if my mat arrives and is faulty?
Each and every mat that we send has been personally checked and packaged by us, so we sincerely hope that faults never happen. If there is an issue upon delivery of your mat, then please get in touch as soon as possible so we can discuss the returns process.

How grippy are the suede mats?
The velvety top suede layer increases grip the more you sweat. The more you sweat, the greater you grip! Don’t worry if you are not a sweater, just spray, splash or wet your mat with water for a super, anti-slip function which gets activated when the surface gets damp.
